Cornell's conduct during its standoff with Nike of the retail giant's labor disputes shows that the University is proactive in holding its business partners to high standards.

After threatening to not renew their contract with Nike, the apparel giant has agreed to create a relief fund for their laid-off workers in Honduras. 

In light of Nike's refusal to pay $2.2 million worth of pension payments to its Honduran workforce, it is time for the University to cut all ties with the mega-company.

With the University of Wisconsin-Madison canceling their licensing agreement with Nike, the pressure is mounting on Cornell to do the same.
