After tallying 12 goals and 20 assists for the Binghamton Senators — the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Ottawa Senators — forward Colin Greening '10 has earned a call up to the big club for the first time in his young career. Greening will take the roster spot previously held by veteran right winger Jarkko Ruutu, who was placed on injured reserve with a lower body injury. In his four seasons on East Hill the former captain of the Red recorded 118 points on 55 goals and 63 assists over 137 games. The 6-2 forward was recognized for his achievements on and off the ice following his senior season when he was named the winner of the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, an award handed out to the most outstanding student-athlete in NCAA Division I men's hockey each season. The Senators return from the NHL All-Star break with an overall record of 17-25-8, leaving the team in last place in the Northeast Division with 32 games remaining this season.
