For better or worse, Wednesday night belonged to Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. In a night that saw speeches by former Republican presidential candidates Gov. Mike Huckabee of Arkansas and former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts, Palin, McCain's newly appointed running mate, held court in Minneapolis-St. Paul for the first time, in front of the largest number of people she'd spoken to in her political career.
