M. Hockey Student Season Tickets Procedure Released

Cornell has released the procedure for obtaining 2007-08 men's hockey season tickets on its athletics website. There will be 200 seats for graduate and professional students and 1,400 seats for undergraduates.

Although similar to last year's format, this year's format has some notable changes, including: 100 line numbers will go to undergraduates who have purchased the Big Red Sports Pass prior to Sept. 23 and are not selected for tickets otherwise; and the date and time of the "camp out,"

M. Hockey Earns Two Wins on First Road Trip

Away from home for the first time this season, the men’s hockey team made a statement this weekend, picking up two road wins en route to a four-point weekend. On Friday night, the No. 11/13 Red defeated a scrappy Brown team by a narrow 3-2 margin, while the Red powered past Yale with a 5-2 victory on Saturday night.



Krantz Steps Up as Defensive Leader

At 6-3, 195 pounds, junior defenseman Doug Krantz could stand eye-to-eye with the Phoenix Coyotes’ Ed Jovanovski. In fact, one player might be confused for the other. Both fit the mold of the aggressive Canadian defenseman. Both are specialists on the power play and penalty kill. Both use their speed and acute hockey sense to force turnovers in the offensive zone.
